June Activities 2025

Ducks

We have been discussing and preparing the children for school. We have talked about what our school is called and what colour uniform we will be wearing. We have looked at pictures of our school and what our crest will look like. The children have been visiting their new schools and making new friends.

We have been talking about Summer

We discussed how the weather changes, the importance of sun cream and sun hats and how to be safe. We have made flip flops and the sun.

The children all worked as a team to build a house with the big building blocks

The children have enjoyed doing junk modelling by using recycled materials, glue, cellotape and ribbon.

The children enjoyed playing with soapy bubbles and water in the tuft tray scooping and pouring.

They spent some time doing a number hunt in the rice, they tried to find the right numbers that were asked of them

Ducklings

We have been learning the colour yellow. We made minion foam play, made yellow ducks and sunflowers, danced with yellow ribbons and made lemonade water play.

We have been learning about things that grow. We have planted some beans. In out tuft tray we had wiggly worms, soil and logs. We have been scooping, pouring, measuring and using different language such as big, small, tall and short.

We went to town for a walk and to have a look at the dolphins. We also did a visit to the library.

The weather has been so lovely that we have had the paddling pools out.
