June Activities 2026

This month we have been very busy.

We had a visit to the KGV which was supported by the Sports commission. They supplied us with a tasty snack and we got to look around the area at all the different insects.

We have made a lovely craft for our carers on fathers day which included painting and sticking.

We have been doing a project on construction sites. There has been a tuff tray with soil, blocks, diggers and people. We have been learning about the types of vehicles and equipment that might be used on a construction site such as diggers, cranes, scaffolding, bricks and cement as well as how the construction workers need to dress safely with specialist clothing such as high viz clothing, hard hats and safety boots.

We have had a student in on work experience where the children made fruit kebabs for their snack. We also made some Crispy cakes.

We have enjoyed having lots of ice lollies to stay cool with the weather as well as lots of water play.

We have also been raising funds by doing our wiggle week where the children get sponsored to dance for 10 minutes a day, which they have really enjoyed.

We have also been learning about transport this month. We have spoke about all the  different types of transport such as air, land and sea.
we discussed what transport we have taken and how we travel to nursery.
We made cars, coloured transport pics and made a train and tickets.
we also had a Tuff tray sorting transport types into land, air and sea.
