August Activities 2023

Although the weather has not been great this summer, we are still outside whenever possible.

We love building our gross motor skills and learning about the world around us.

Throughout the summer we have been enjoying a variety of experiments including learning what sinks and floats, using skittles to make rainbow colours and much more.

One of the experiments was melting ice. After learning that ice is water that has been frozen we guessed whether the ice would melt faster with cold or warm water poured on it. We tried out our theories and learnt that the warmer the water the faster the ice melted.
