February Activities 2024

This month we have been learning about how to make a collage and getting messy with the glue.

The children enjoyed creating a puppet show expressing their talents and imagination. We discussed who the characters are that they were pretending to be, we learnt how we can talk for the puppets and how you need to keep hidden behind a curtain. We learnt that scenery needs changing in the background and also learnt about punch and Judy.

We made a bus out of chairs and used a cushion as a steering wheel, we used our imagination to take a trip to the park and discussed what we might find there and what is our favourite thing to do at the park.

We created pictures using the hammer and tac. The children who come in in the holidays also enjoyed these activities.

We practiced doing our jumping off the wall in the garden which went really well.

We have also been learning that we do not just paint with brushes we can use lots of different materials, including our fingers.
