January Activities 2026

The Ducklings have started preparing for the Eisteddfod by making snakes, monkeys spiders and panthers as their crafts.

We have done some fine motor working with tweezers and threading.

The Ducklings took a trip to Le Friquet where they used their gross motor skills to climb around.

They have enjoyed making chocolate cornflake cakes, practicing their mixing skills.

The children have also been learning the colour white this month, exploring the colour through their white tuft tray and making igloo’s.

They have enjoyed working on their gross motor skills through obstacle courses.

Their theme this month is Jungle and they have had a jungle themed tuft tray and made crafts, sang jungle themed songs

They enjoyed pretending to be in an art class working on the floor.

They have also been looking at winter where they have been scrunching up white tissue to do their crafts.

They made some winter mittens and spoke about what you might wear to keep yourself warm.

They have also been working on their valentines cards for their loved ones.
