Ducks

Mothers day – We did some hand painting to make flowers on our cards.

Pancake day – We made a pan out of tin foil and added yellow tissue to look like the pancake. We discussed what we could put on our pancakes and we discussed that on pancake day we welcome spring, spend time with our families and eat pancakes.

Spring – For crafts we made

Blossom trees, Daffodils and Bumble bees.

We talked about new life, the weather and how the days feel longer

We also sang songs related to spring:- I like the flowers, BaaBaa Black sheep, Peter Rabbit and The little green frog.

Ducklings

We have been working on the colour black this month. Our Tuft tray had counters for counting, black animals, test tubes, black foam and fabric. We made black bunnies, had to fill the test tubes and rescue the animals

Our Songs were:- Baa Baa Black sheep and Incy wincy spider

Also this month we made a giant house, made a ball pit in a tent, did sensory time with ceiling lights and calming music and made a pretend pancake in a saucepan.

We put last months work on space in the Eisteddfod

We celebrated world book day where we made book marks, read books from home, and discussed each book and what we liked about them.
