February Activities 2026
The ducks have been making valentines day cards and hearts for their special someone.
They used red and pink tissue paper to collage their heart.
They painted their hands to make a heart on their card and also dressed up in pink and red hearts.
They made heart shaped pizza wraps with tomato puree and cheese and had them warm for snack.
They have been decorating bread with food colouring to toast and have as a snack.
Tuesday 17th was pancake day and the children had a pancake for snack, they decided what they wanted to add to their pancakes which included a choice of sugar, lemon, blueberries, bananas and sprinkles.
They have also been continuing with their Eistedfodd display ‘The jungle book’ there has been lots of talk on this topic and we have been making the animal sounds.
Ducklings have enjoyed making love heart pizzas and craft for Valentine’s Day.
We have been learning the colour pink, we have made pink parrots and practised our tweezer skills with different sized objects in our pink tuff tray.
We have started to make our Mother’s Day craft.
Ducklings have also continued making things for our Eistedfodd piece.
